We took a family day trip into DC. We went to the Botanic Gardens and saw the special train display, went to the National Tree, out to lunch at our favorite spot Lorial Plaza and even spent time playing at Rose Park. The only disappointment of the day was that there was no Yule Log. Everything else was perfect. It was so special to spend the day together and also go back to some of our spots that we used to enjoy so much when we lived in the city.
