Awesome pumpkins grown in Grandma and Papas garden

The most adorable monkey, giraffe and dragon we've ever seen!

This year we made sure to embrace the fall weather and had a fun Halloween pumpkin carving mini-party on our deck. We roasted hot dogs and marshmallows and carved our pumpkins. We even cooked the pumpkin seeds. Our power was out thanks to Sandy so we did trick o treating in my parents neighborhood. We would have liked to experience the Halloween festivities in our neighborhood but it ended up working out to be a lot of fun.  Uncle Mark joined us and even got his own pumpkin to gather candies. The boys selected the dragon costume over the cupcake one for Siena.  I was shocked to overhear Evan's response to someone when told to select two candies, "My mommy said only to take one." Wow! He does know how to follow directions! They said their "thank you" and ran from house to house.  I love the make believe aspect of Halloween and the fellowship of neighbors.
Till next time.....Trick or Treat!!!!
