Day 3 & 4

Yesterday after a special day out shopping with my Mom, we decorated our Christmas tree. Due to the size of our home and the curiosity and energy of our boys the tree that made the most sense to us stands less then 3 feet tall and is placed on top of our TV. Nonetheless, it is special to us. Evan enjoyed being a helper with putting the ornaments on and Jake did a fantastic job of not playing the the ornaments. We listened to music and our home was filled with Christmas cheer! (note the tool that Evan is using to decorate the tree :))

Today we went to the Swedish Christmas Bazar. When we got there the embassy was already packed with people. They had various tables set up with trinkets, crafts and baked goods that were representative of Sweden. They had a room all set up for children too. They had an arts and crafts table, train sets, and many other wooden toys. Thankfully, Evan and Jake found a spot to play and really enjoyed playing with a wooden doll house and pirate ship.

Oh, we also snuck in watching Rudolf this morning. Our internet and cable was down and we all needed a moment of quiet. So, in went the DVD. It is Adams favorite holiday movie. Evan loved it and Jake sat peacefully playing with a toy. You should hear Evan say "Rudolf". Super cute!
