Summer Activities

Jake woke up early from his nap one afternoon just as a summer storm blew in. I opened up the door just a bit so we could hear the sound of the rain coming down. I fixed him a little snack and he sat there by the door just listening and eating for an hour! Such a sweetie!

Baby Girl Siena just before we went to our summer Bible Study at Broadneck EP church. It is a casual but intense discussion about various topics that are often debated. The kids get to play with high schoolers that volunteer their time while I am with the other adults in my study.

Evan really enjoys corn. He says, "I love cob on the corn!".  I told him it is called corn on the cob but he told me that he prefers to call it cob on the corn. As I was cleaning up and he was still chomping on the corn he yelled to me, "Mom, I am corn eater from way back!" Priceless!

Evan and Jake are surprisingly good and shucking the corn! Love that I have a chore for them that they are good at and they don't mind doing! Thankfully I encouraged them to clean up afterwards and they obliged.
