Updates

Its been a while since I last wrote.

Updates with Evan: He is such a big boy! He is potty trained now and wears his "big boy undies" both day and night. There are still the occasional accident but for the most part he has got it! No more diapers for Evan! Evan also has been sleeping in a toddler bed. We realized this transition was necessary when he was climbing out of his crib. He asks for permission before he gets out of bed and still takes a nice 2-3 hour nap and a solid 12 hours at night. He talks a lot but his favorite question is "Why?" I am constantly hearing, "why..." to everything I say! His memory is amazing and recalls even a small occurrence that may have happen months ago.

Updates with Jake: Jake is becoming his own little person! He has graduated from bottles to sip cups! I think that marks that he is officially not a baby anymore. He is starting to have such a vocabulary now. He doesn't have sentences yet but is clear with the words, "mine", "Barney" "Up please", "thirsty", "drink", "snack", "no", "downstairs" and many more! I think he tries to say most any word we present to him. His favorite book is Go Dog Go. He asks for me to read it to him everyday after his nap. He is still particular about which foods he'll eat but he is a a kick for loving oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, and grilled cheese.

This summer has been hot! But we are still making regular trips to the gym in the morning and then to the park. The boys sure need a place to get their energy out because they have a lot of it! I'd say both boys are doing great! We are thankful to God each day for their health and happiness!
