Yesterday we read from the Bible about the birth of Christ. Evan seemed most concerned in the fact that the shepherds were afraid when they first saw the angels. But, at least he was interested. I'd say our first day was successful even though we did end up ripping a page of the Bible. Next time we'll use his children's Bible.
Today we colored in a coloring book. It wasn't a new Christmas book but it did have a picture of baby Jesus in the manger. He enjoyed this activity for about 10 minutes.
Hard to keep a 2 year olds attention for too long but I am enjoying having a planned activity for us to share each day!
