Evan playing Hop-Scotch

This past weekend we made the trek to New Jersey to visit Grandma and Papa. It was a wonderful time. Evan especially loved the neighbors. There was a "brown neigh" and "white neigh" that lived across the street. He could even look out his bedroom window to see them and say goodnight. Having a big backyard was so much fun especially since Grandma and Papa got him a pool to play in. He also got to play with "sidewalk chalk" and Daddy took his attempt at being an artist and drew a pretty good horse for Evan. Evan also enjoyed doing the Hop-Scotch! I think it is soooo cute to see Evan try to jump and hop! Jake was his normal happy and peachy self! Saturday night Adam and I got to go out on the town. We strolled through the small downtown area and shared a piece of Sals famous pizza. Then we went to Stewarts and had humungous cheesesteak subs. You'd think we would stop there, but no! I had to get a blizzard from Diary Queen. I moderated by ordering the mini! After that we got to hang with Adams friends at his favorite bar, Felix's. We feel so blessed to have family that loves us! Driving home we said we wished Grandma and Papa lived closer so we could have more frequent visits like the one we had this weekend.
