Our baby boy turned 1 years old on Friday! The year went by so fast but was filled with so much love, amazement and wonderful times. Evan is such a blessing in our lives and to think a year ago we didn't even know him or all the joy he was going to bring us!
We had a simple celebration, just Dad, Mom and Evan. I made him a pumpkin bread "cake". I figured no need to give him sugary frosting just yet! We sung happy birthday and gave him a few gifts. We wanted to keep it low key but still have it feel special. Evan seemed super happy so that made us feel good.
Our baby is now one! Such a big milestone yet so many more ahead of us. Just praying for the continued guidance of the Lord and for another great year to come.
