Day Dates are the Best

My Mom so graciously offered to give Adam and I a whole day date! We took full advantage of the time away from the little ones and went to Baltimore. We started at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Saw some famous paintings, photos and felt very cultured. Then we went to a famous but somewhat secret gem for lunch. It was an authentic italian market and deli! We had fabulous sandwitches. Adam ate his meatball sub so fast I didnt' even have a chance to order a glass of wine. We then headed to Second Chance. It is a huge warehouse and the the business hires ex-criminals and gives them a "second chance" at life and then they sell previously used goods also giving items a "second chance'. Adam found a fabulous piece. It is so beautiful and we are going to refinish it with some shade of aqua and/or grey and turn it into my oh so fabulous craft cupboard. Then we went to the Cross Street Market. It is a place that has a special place in my heart because it was a favorite Friday Happy Hour spot for Pop Pop and my Dad. We got the best Sushi and a bottle of white wine. It was beyond fun! I loved our day out. Even the drive home was full of conversation and energy! We picked up the kids and they had a happy special day with Grandma and G-Dad. We had a great adventure and had our marriage strengthened. Thanks MOM!
