Adam always takes a long holiday break from work so we try to make sure that we have a few fun activities to do while he is home. One day we went to a little holiday party at the Lake Shore Plaza. There was face painting and of course the boys got sharks even though the recommend designs were all Christmas things like candycanes and Christmas trees. I was amazed at the artistic work and they boys loved their shark faces!

| One of our family traditions is to go to DC for the day around Christmas. We go to the Botanic Gardnes to see the spectacular train garden display. Afterwards we go to Lorial plaza and have best chips and salsa and super delicious fajitas. To end the day in DC we stop at Rose Park Playground. I think this is my favorite part because it brings back floods of memories of our days living in DC. The kids play and I remember and smile on the days past. |
