We went to a local farm and found a gorgeous big pumpkin. My guess was that it was a 40 pound pumpkin but it came up weighing 25 pounds. It was funny to see how each kids personality and interest was different during the event. Evan very much cared about which pumpkin we took home. He had a strong opinion about which one and of course he wanted the biggest pumpkin out of all of them. Jake really could care less about selecting a pumpkin. He just wanted to climb on and over all the pumpkins. Siena made herself heard and whined and moaned until Daddy took her for rides in the pumpkin cart. There were signs saying "wagons for pumpkins and not children" but we broke the rules and took her for a ride anyway....please forgive us. Adam liked the short fat pumpkins best and I liked the tall oval ones. Anyway, we found our family pumpkin and in the end all were happy!
