Last night we had a double date with Casey and Andrew and together we made the most fabulous homemade sushi rolls. We had tuna, crawfish and shrimp as our protein and a large variety of delicious veggies and fruits including mango and avocado for the fillings. It was so much fun to create and name our sushi rolls. My favorite of them was the Titanic, Fireball Wake-Up, and Tropical Crunch! It was special to share the night together and the food was creative, healthy and oh so fresh! Oh, and did I mention delicious!
If you want to roll your own make some of the things you'll want to have are:
pickled ginger
soy sauce
wasabi
rice
seaweed paper
rice viniger
protien(sushi grade fish and/or cooked shrimp, crab ect.)
veggies(cucumber, carrot, peppers, ect.)
spice(sambal oelek, sweet chili sauce..)
bamboo rolling board
Have Fun!
