The Truth

What is a snow day at the Tarsi house? It is fun in the snow and mugs of hot chocolate with marshmallows. It is extra mess in the foyer. It is homemade Easter Bunny cookies. It is making games with clean baskets of unfolded laundry. It is mess. It is tears. It is laughing. It is a blessing to be able to be home with my children. I get tired. I get frustrated. I get to make mac and cheese and pizza for lunch. I get to read stories before nap. I get to wipe noses, tiny hands, and babies butts. I get to give kisses and hugs.  I get to BE with my children!  Thank you God!

Siena got to come out and play in the snow!

The boys were making "snow soup"

My 3 little monkeys.

Oh Joy! Snow!

We made a Snowman. His name is Frosty and the boys kept asking why he wasn't talking or walking around. I had to explain we didn't have a magic hat!

I love Evan's rosy cheeks!

The laundry that didn't get folded. It did provide about  20 minutes of fun for the kids. They dumped it out, buried themselves in it then played basketball, shooting balls of clothes back in the hamper.

If I blink, Siena finds trouble. She was enjoying digging in my potted plant.

Diapers and trash! I have 2 out of 3 potty trained but somehow I feel like I am still changing a lot of dirty diapers!

It takes a lot of extra clothes to bundle up for our snow day. The foyer is now painted with the wet jackets, boots and mittens.

When the kids play it almost looks like a hurricane comes through the playroom. Mess mess and more mess!

Easter Bunny Cookies! The dishes and flour coated counters are worth it! Yummy and cute!!!
In order to have homemade cookies it means there will be a sink of dirty dishes!
