I have just recently turned 3o years old and along with lots of fun celebrating my birthday I also did some reflecting of what my life was, is and hopefully will be in the future. I feel like I have been very blessed and have matured a lot since my early 20's. I am so lucky to be married to such a wonderful man and be blessed with 2 amazing boys. I really am happy with where I am in life! I love being a stay at home mom, I love living in the city and I don't take for granted my health and the well being of our family. So with turning 30 a new chapter has turned. One big change is saying bye-bye to my BMW! We just sold it last weekend and are now proud owners of a minivan. Thats right! A MINIVAN! I was so against getting one at first but it is actually the perfect vehicle for our family! There is soooo much cargo space. When we used to take trips to Costco we would fill the car to the brim, each of us holding items on our lap. Now we have space to spare! It is pretty funny how quickly I went from a young gal driving a beamer to a mom schlepping strollers, booster seats and kids around in a minivan.
Speaking of my dear children! They are doing great! Jake is now eating rice cereal 3 times a day. It is a real production to feed him. He loves to try to shove his bib in his mouth in between bites of cereal, therefore, it makes a mess! He also got his 1st tooth! It came a whole month earlier then Evans first tooth! I can't believe how fast Jake is growing up! He is such a happy boy! Smiles a ton and is just a joy! Evan is growing up fast too! He has so much to say now. His memory is really amazing too! If you teach him something new he will be sure to remind you of it the next day! We just got him a basketball hoop. He loves it! It is a great outside activity for us while Jake is taking his morning nap. Both boys are sharing a room now. Thankfully Evan doesn't get upset when Jake cries or wakes up before he does. Our townhouse only has 2 bedrooms so it is a blessing that they can share so nicely or we would have to move. That day will come but for now we are loving where we are! I am so happy with life at 30!
