The boys are both down for their nap so I have a little break to write. Jake turned 5 months old yesterday! He is getting big fast. He loves to chew on anything he can get his hands on including just his hands if nothing else is available. I think he likes discovering all new textures plus I see his first tooth beginning to poke through his gum. Jake is such a happy boy! He is very social and loves to smile and giggle to all who will stop and say hi! Evan has been a terrific big brother. He will bring over toys to share with Jake and even plays Peek-a-Boo with him. It really melts my heart when I see them interacting and playing together. Evan is saying new words each day and puts 2 or 3 words together to form short sentences. Some of his favorites are "Ma sit"(so we can play ball) "big orange ball", "I see you", and "more please". I can't believe how quickly he picks up words!

We have been loving the break in the intense humidity and heat! Thankfully we have a public pool that is walking distance from our house for the days that are super hot. We are so blessed with all that is around us! It is really fun being a mom and living in DC!
