Baby Boy Jake!

We have a new addition to our family! Jake was born January 30th at 8.5 lbs and 20.5 inches long. We had his 2 week check up yesterday and he is already 9.4 lbs! He is sleeping, eating and pooping a lot...all things a healthy newborn should be doing so we are happy. So far Evan is for the most part indifferent with his new brother. Evan does like looking at Jakes hands and just started asking to hold him. The first week of Jakes life I was in laying on my back in pain with an epidural headache. Adam was Mr. Mom and Dad for both boys and took care of me. Thankfully we had nearby family that helped to get us through the tough time. Now I am feeling better and can participate and be "Mom". Although the snow has kept us indoors more than we normally would like it has been a really terrific week. Adam has been off work and we are settling in and getting used to being a family of 4 now. We feel so blessed to have two healthy boys! Praise God for the amazing blessings he gave us!
