In the past year it seems like just about each day Evan is learning something new. One huge accomplishment is his ability to communicate with us without whining. We taught him sign language and he now uses, "more", "all done", and "please". Being the healthy eater that he is, his favorite to use is "more". He also points to objects to get our attention as to what he wants.
Recently he has been putting large lego blocks together(rather then just knocking them over) and has learned how to fit his toy cookies in the the small slot in the cookie jar.
Today at the park he would walk up some stairs then just turn around and practice walking down them. He did this over and over until he was satisfied with how he did it. Evan is definitely independent and one that likes to be self taught. When we try to help him he generally refuses it and wants to do it on his own!
I love seeing all he is learning! We've been very proud of our smart little boy!
